Do. 27. – Sa. 29.6., Hauptplatz 8, Hörsaal F (5. OG)
Hello water, my old friend. And still new. Contained in many histories and stories, scientific and artistic works, walks and swims and postcards. Uncontainable. All the archives dedicated to you are leaky archives. You are always moving – flowing, dripping, volatile. You don’t fit in a cube or a showcase. So this is not an exhibition. It’s a confluence. And when four courses flow together they create high fludility.
Works created in the framework of:
Muddy Neighbours and Watery Archives – artistic and historical research on the danube in Linz JULIA GRILLMAYR/ Kulturwissenschaft
Rivers as Sites of Memory WILTRUD K HACKL/ Ästhetik & Pragmatik audiovisueller Medien Water °°° Medium & Milieu MAREN MAYER-SCHWIEGER/ Medientheorien
Within the exhibition we also present Im Fluss // River-Zine, which was created in the course Praxis: Process (Design and Interdisciplinarity) by ANGELIKA BURTSCHER and discusses, among other things, the River Danube as the lifeline of the city of Linz and its significance in public space.
